I have been having such a great month with my stitching stash. Got a few new things that I am really excited over. I purchased the Quaker Santa/Snowman and the new Blackbird Loose Feather piece. I just love them both. That Santa is sooo cute. I can't wait to stitch him. I love red!!
I also got a lovely Permin piece on Ebay, thats an advent calendar. I really like it and I have it high on my next year Christmas stitching pile. Also purchased the 2 latest Little House Needlework Packets, one with pumpkins and the other a scripture pack. The threads of these are both included and they are just so lovely. Beautiful colors.

I have been working on ornaments too. My Prairie Schooler exchange partner Margaret received my PS ornie. I can't wait to get mine. I will post a picture as soon as I get it. I am in a few other ornie swaps and anxious to work on them. Hope to spend all day tomorrow on them.
Here is the front and back of the ornament I made for Margaret.

Today, I did some Christmas shopping with my grandson and daughter and in addition we went to see "HAPPY FEET" What a great movie. I totally enjoyed it. That little dancing Penguin won my heart and everyone else in the theatre. At the end everyone clapped and cheered. My grandson loved it. He is 9 and if its not about dragons, swordfighting or something from outer space, he just isn't interested. But he did love it and I am glad. It was a long day but we had a great time.
