Thank you all for your wonderful comments on my blog. Someone was kind enough to send me the link where I got my red sampler from. Here it is:

http://isav.over-blog.com/5-categorie-394086.html

There are a few really nice freebies on there. I wish I could read French it looks like a wonderful blog to read. I enjoy looking through it.

Today was a great day for stitching and staying in, keeping warm. We had been having freezing rain this morning so our mountain looks like a iceberg. I didn't dare venture down it to go to the store or for the mail. My daughter Katie was supposed to visit today but she decided not to come because of the roads. Hope they are a little better tomorrow.
I worked on a couple things today, worked on my Prairie Schooler SAL, I am a bit behind in it but I am trying hard to catch up. Here is what I have so far:

I love it, I love the colors of it. But then I don't think there has ever been a Prairie Schooler that I have not liked.

Now here is an updated picture of my little red sampler. I am more then 1/2 done with it and I really love it. On the site there are a couple red hearts that I might stitch for gifts for my daughters. I think they would like them.

Now isn't that pretty. Can't wait to have it finished, framed and on my wall. Love it.

I finished this last week and forgot to post a picture. it was one of my UFO's from 2004. It is a Bright Needle design called Merry Christmas.

I don't think I will be doing any more crosstitching tonight. My little granddaughter came downstairs to me and asked me about finger puppets. Awhile back I had bought a kit to make Dora fingerpuppets. She remembered them and asked me where were they. Hmmmm I guess I will be making fingerpuppets this evening. It is a cute kit, I haven't opened it yet, so I am hoping its something I can do by hand and is not too difficult.
Have a good evening everyone.

Lovely finishes, Sharon!. The Brightneedle piece looks so pretty. And thank you for sharing the link for the freebies. I've never done a redwork piece and really should give it a try.
