I was feeling a need for a change and with upcoming Birthday of our Country, thought I would make my blog a bit more patriotic. Don't you just love that red, white and blue.
I am in a small crosstitch group with some close friends, and right now we are having a Patriotic Bingo. Its lots of fun. 70 patriotic words and you must select 25 of them. I call 3 a day and the first one who gets all 25 of their words calls Bingo and gets a prize. shhhhh I can't tell what the prize is because I know a couple of them visit my blog and I wouldn't want to give it away, but as soon as I have a winner I will post a picture of it.
I have so many birthdays in July. My grandson, my oldest and youngest daughter. My oldest was born on July 6th 1976. 7/6/76. I still remember going into labor on 7/4/76 which was our nations bicentenial. I thought she was going to be a bicentenial baby born on the 4th of July, but alas she decided to take her sweet time and wasn't born till the 6th.
How are you celebrating the 4th of July this year. We are going to have a barbecue and go see some firework displays near by. In honor of this time of year I took out a patriotic UFO I was working on last year and put aside. Now I am going to try to finish it up in the next week, so I can display it. One problem, I misplaced the chart. I have been looking all morning and a good part of last night. Now that I mentioned it, I am hoping it will show up.

Isn't he a dandy? I am so regretting not finishing him up last year.
Happy Sunday everybody!
