The Feast of the Epiphany

Today is the Feast of the Epiphany or Feast of the Three Kings. This lovely picture is a card that my cousin Rosemary sent me in keeping with our traditions. I had to take a picture and share it. I think its lovely.

We didn't have much of a home celebration today. DH and I were alone most of the day so we went and treated ourselves to Chinese Food at the chinese Buffet in the next town over and we had a nice time. it was nearly empty, not many people eating out today. The food was wonderful and we really enjoyed ourselves. In the middle of our meal I got a text message from my friend Roseann who announced she was going to be a grandma. Congratulations to you Roseann and your family. How wonderful.

DH and I both decided to start a diet tomorrow. One reason why we chowed down at the buffet today. No more buffets for us. But then almost like divine intervention...in my fortune cookie were these words: Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you may diet. LOL
