Here are my schoolgirl lessons, all complete. I love how it looks in this hornbook frame. Just like a hornbook slate. I still love chalkboards not too long ago I bought a big one for my granddaughter and often I draw pictures on it for her. My children always had chalkboards and would play school all the time with each other.

I love this design in white on the black fabric, and the hornbook frame is just perfect. I hadn't planned on ordering this design, but now that I see the way you stitched it, I think I just might have to give it a try, too. I like the idea of the light you suggested and think I'll have to try that, too, lol.
