I am going to be a grandma again. Yes, I am happy as can be. My daughter Katie and her DH are expecting their first baby in December. I am so excited and happy for all of us. A new baby is always so wonderful. I know its a long way off but I am already counting the days. I have a lot of ideas of things I want to stitch for the baby already.
Lots of cold and flu germs roaming around our house. Everyone has been sick. Hopefully we are all on the mend. Everytime we are all feeling better someone gets ill again. I am so looking forward to some nice weather so I can open the windows and chase the germs away.
I haven't stitched as much as I would have liked but have managed to work on some things. I finished this design that I will make into a biscornu one day this week.
Then I worked a little more on my Blackbird pink house, I wanted to finish it when I realized I was missing one of the threads. Don't you hate when that happens? I think I have another of the same color kitted up with another blackbird piece so I am going to do some hunting for that tomorrow.
I also spent some time working on this design by Tanya the
SamplerGirl
I have had it for awhile and have been anxious to stitch it. It's so pretty and colorful. I am stitching it on a prefinished pillow. It will be part of my summer decorating.
Here is my very wrinkled mystery sampler up to date. I try to work on it every weekend but didn't this weekend. I need to catch up with it.
Well, the weekend is almost over and hopefully this week will be a better week healthwise and weatherwise. The children have the week off for Spring Break and we have a few outings planned for all of us. Can't wait.
Have a Good Night!!
