Welcome Molly

Molly was rescued by my son from being destroyed. She is very old girl, 14 years old and she is just as sweet as can be. Whoever had her before was very cruel to her and she has a lot of signs of being abused. My son has been taking wonderful care of her and she is in much better health and feels much better. She has been doing very well and seems so much younger then her years now. She has a lot of arthritis and walks very slow. She loves my son so much, but he has a job to do in another state and he would not be able to take her so he asked me if I would take care of her. After meeting her a couple times I know I had to take her into my home and we all have quickly fallen in love with her. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs and loves everyone. She always has a big grin on her face. She has taken over the big chair in the living room and we don't mind at all. She sleeps a lot but when she isn't sleeping she is following me or the children around. She loves attention and she even plays a bit with Maya our one year old Lab and Sparky who is our 5 year old Dachshund. How I wish I had Molly since she was young. I hope and pray that she will be happy here with us for the remainder of her life.

Molly looks like a wonderful dog. Sounds like she has adjusted to your family and knowing she will have love her remaining days is all one can ask for.

Awww, Sharon, she looks so sweet!! I'm so glad that she can live out the rest of her life with a loving family. She deserves it after all the turmoil she's had to face, poor thing.

How wonderful of you and your son!
I saw this the other day and think it's so appropriate for you here, kinda long, but I know you will relate:

I adopted your pet today...
The one you left at the pound;
The one you had for ten years
And no longer wanted around.

I adopted your pet today...
Did you know that he's lost weight?
Did you know he's scared and depressed
And seems to have lost all faith?

I adopted your pet today...
He had fleas and a little cold;
Guess you don't care what shape he's in
- You abandoned him I am told.

I adopted your pet today...
Were you having a baby or moving away?
Did you suddenly develop allergies,
Or was there NO reason he couldn't stay?

I adopted your pet today...
He doesn't play or even eat much;
I guess he's very sad inside and
It'll take time for him to trust.

I adopted your pet today...
And here he is going to stay;
He's found his FOREVER home
And a warm bed in which to lay.

I adopted your pet today...
And shall give him all that he will need
- Patience, love, and security,
So he can forget your selfish deed.
