A little Christmas stitching. I stitched this for a friend but I covered the initials up so she can't see it if she sees my blog. Its in the mail to her so hopefully she will receive it today or tomorrow. This ornament was in the Preview Ornament Issue from the Just Crosstitch Magazine by Sue Hillis. It was so much fun to stitch. I used 25ct evenweave and stitched over one like the design called for. I really loved stitching it but I wasn't crazy about glueing the felt to the back. I am just not a glue person, I would have much rather sewn a back on but it was fun for the most part. I loved how it turned out.

Hey! Thank you so much for your delightful comments on my blog and for sharing that wonderful story about your dear MIL. I LOVED that!

About todays blog, I was wondering what kind of glue you used for the felt backing?

It turned out very lovely, Sharon! Your pal will love it regardless of the glued felt. CONGRATS on a beautiful finishing job.

This little ornament caught my eye as well and is on my "to do" list. Yours turned out beautifully. I admire your ability to stitch over one on the 25 ct!
