A Start and a Finish

Wow, my first finish for 2009, I am very excited. This is Gobble by Plum Street Samplers. I just love that little turkey there. I couldn't wait to share this picture with all of you. Almost can't wait for Thanksgiving again. LOL

I made my decision, thank you all for your input. It was very hard, but I finally decided that Peppermint Twists colors looked best on the Vintage country mocha. It's avery pretty fabric, and fun to stitch on too. I started it and didn't get very far with it but its a start.

I love the way Gobble turned out. I love the design and have it in my stash, just waiting to be stitched (along with too many others, unfortunately!!). I like the choice of the fabric for Peppermint Twist, too!
Hugs, Joanne

I love Gobble - absolutely beautiful! I love your Peppermint Twist start too - that fabric is perfect... I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on this. I think this will probably be my "Christmas" stitching piece for the holidays later this year. : )
