1803 Pennsylvania House Sampler..

I did it, I finished it. I just love it too. Its very special to me. I love the colors. I wish my house was that color, heck I wish birds were that color too. LOL
I had hoped to have both this piece and Its Berry Time finished by tomorrow, Aug. 31 After I finished that piece I picked up Its Berry time to put some stitches in it, and I found an error. just one stitch over, UGHH don't you hate that. I was about to start frogging when I thought, hey summer is almost over I don't want to stitch this piece now. I can't think of berries when there is a cold breeze in the air. Our leaves are already falling, so I have to put this summer time piece away till next year. Time to start thinking of pretty autumn colors, crunchy leaves and pumpkins.

So I will carefully tuck this piece away. See ya next year.
Yesterday I bought this pretty yarn called Autumn Print. I just love it. I hope to make myself a scarf with it. It will be perfect for a nice long walk on an autumn day here in the Catskills.

I got loads of things going on in my mind that I want to make and stitch. I will be sure to share them with you over the next few weeks. Have a wonderful Sunday evening.

Beautiful finish Sharon! I'm sorry about being off on Berry Time. I hate it when that happens! That scarf is going to be so pretty. I'm envious of your weather up there! It's Sooo hot down here!

Beautiful finish, Sharon! I hate it when there's a counting error. Ugh! But that yarn is beautiful -- definitely starting to feel like fall out there! Somehow that's a good thing. :D

I love your finish Sharon and I don't blame you for putting the piece away. When the air gets cooler it's time for other things - like wool and knitting. Love that wool! It's going to make a beautiful scarf.

I love the finish. And also the yarn! I bought the Vogue Knitting for the first time in a long time--I saw some hats I might have the patience (and even the skill) to knit.

Oh wow, Sharon, I love it!!!! I knew it would be pretty but really, it is so gorgeous. That Kathy sure does some nice designs, doesn't she? :D And you do some BEAUTIFUL stitching!!

Great progress on Berry Time. I really wanted to stitch this one, too, but like you think I'll keep it till next year. With our weather changing, I just want to hunker down, get a fire going, and stitch autumnal things.

That yarn will make a wonderful scarf--the colors will look great on you!
