Look who came for lunch...
This is not my yard but someone in my area, they printed the picture in our little local newspaper and just had to share. We are always getting bears in our yard, wandering around the property. They can be quite bold. My biggest fear is one entering my home. Thank goodness for our dogs who always let us know when they are around. We have stopped feeding the birds and also removed our raspberry bushes. That seemed to attract the bears a lot. We were feeding the birds year round but now we will just feed them in the winter time when the bears are hibernating.
I have been working on both It's Berry Time and this CHS design that was a gift from Kathy Barrick herself. Pennsylvania House. I love them both. I am going to try hard to finish them both by the end of August. Hope I can do it.

Goodness - and I thought I had it bad with the squirrels eating all the bird seed!! Beautiful stitch in progress Sharon. Can't wait to see your finish!! Happy Stitching!!
Oh my, I would be scared to death. If we had bears around here I'd certainly have a dog too.
Looking forward to the progress on Pennsylvania House, seems to be a piece right after my taste.
How scarey. We haven't had any bears yet but I will not be surprised if it ever happens.
Nervy bear!!!!
Have a good day with many stitches. Almost time for the school bells to be ringing! Are the grands ready?
Wow! That bear is really daring, isn't he? Sounds like you are smart about your yard and birdfeeders and bushes and all! I love that chart that Kathy gave you --can't wait to see it all stitched up!
Bears, so adorable, but scary too! That is a neat CHS design, Sharon...looking forward to seeing more progress!
How fun that she gave you that gift! I love your progress on it!!
Wow...that is pretty scary. We had a black bear wandering around our elementary school last spring. Thankfully he was soon captured. I love your Pennsylvania House WIP. Looks great!
Have to admit that I wouldn't want to meet up with one of them! Love the stitching - and I love her designs!
I know one thing--I wouldn't be wandering into the woods on my own!
Love the WIP, Sharon!
OMG! Funny photo but I sure hope it was taken with a zoom lens. Love your PA House, Sharon! And just what is that yummy-looking fabric, pray tell?
