I am forever changing the look of my blog I know. I am always finding these great little blog designs that I think THIS IS IT!! The look that I want. Then after a few days I get bored with it. There is no hope for me. LOL
I just found these very same buttons among my stash so I thought it might be fate to use this design, at least for a few days anyway.
I have been working on my Claras sampler and I am so close to the end. I can't wait to be finished and make it into a small pillow.
I wanted to share these pictures with everyone. This owl has found a home on our property and very close to the front door too. I couldn't resist taking pictures of him/her. I have never seen an owl so close before except maybe at the zoo. I think he is just so beautiful. We can hear him hooting all the time. He is pretty big too. Hope one of my mini dachshunds are not on his menu.
The first one shows how close I was to him and the second I zoomed in on him. Isn't he beautiful?
My stitching plans so far for 2010 will be Ann Grimshaw, a reproduction sampler that is just gorgeous. I have to order it and the supplies. A few friends have already stitched it and I couldn't resist stitching it too. I have not been this excited about a big sampler in some time. I can't wait to get started.

How cool to see an owl this close!

It's fun to see changes to your blog! I'm the opposite -- way too lazy to change! lol! That owl is beautiful! And btw, I love mini dachshunds! We had a regular sized one when I was little. I'm excited about Ann on Fridays too! It should be fun!
Love your owl. One of his relatives lives in the woods by us and we watched him swoop down and get a mouse the other day.
That sampler is going to be beautiful, but it looks huge!
Oooh, he is pretty (and BIG!). I can't wait to see your Ann Grimshaw start. I want to start her too, so bad! Love this one. And your Clara piece, can't wait to see a photo of it too.
Oh, I love your new tenant! I've never seen an owl in the wild...unless I count the one we nearly hit in the car during a thunderstorm! I love the great photos you took!
What a beautiful owl! I've got to think that his being there is a sign - a very good sign of only good things to come for you and your family.
I love Ann Grimshaw. I believe that is my favorite of all quaker samplers.
gorgeous owl and I love listening to them.
The sampler is beautiful as is that owl!
What a beautiful picture! Looking forward to watching your progress on the sampler it is beautiful.
I just love that owl, Sharon, though I think I would be pretty freaked out at the size of it if I saw it in person! It's beautiful, though. I can't wait for tomorrow and Ann! ;)
A great project for 2010.
The owl picture is so cool, I have never seen one in nature although I can hear them around here.
Sharon seeing an owl out in the woods (not in the zoo) is on my bucket list. I have never ever seen one. You are so lucky and he/she is beautiful!
WOW, Sharon!! Incredible photo of that owl!! I'd be nervous for the mini dachshunds, too. As a matter of fact, I'd be afraid to step out the door myself!! LOL
Very cute SG pillow finish, Sharon! I LOVE the herringbone stitch around it.
