New Dishes

I have loved these dishes for a long time but since I have so many dishes I didn't buy them, I just dreamed of the day all my other dishes would break and I would have to buy these. LOL I think they are so pretty. They are from Phaltzgraff and they are called Pistoulet. 2 good friends of mine Siobhan and Melissa have them already and they love them too so I just thought someday someday. Last year Siobhan and I went to a Phaltzgraff outlet and I bought a couple small pieces to start my collection off.
Well the wonderful news is that I am now the owner of service for 8. A gift from my daughter Jennifer and her husband Shawn. What a treat. I am so thrilled, who would have thought dishes could make a person so happy. They are just so cheery and pretty. I spent the entire morning rearranging my cabinets for them. DH thinks we should save them for company and special dinner. Well, every day is a special dinner for us and I am going to enjoy them. I have good china that I have saved so long and I don't even like it anymore. LOL Nope these are going to get used plenty. Every meal will be even more wonderful on these happy dishes.

Thank you all for your nice comments on my Nativity. A few people have asked me who designed it and I am looking for the design, as soon as I find out I will post the info on it. I think it was from a magazine For the Love of Crosstitch. I have lots of old issues so I need to go through them all and hopefully I will find it.

I got a brandnew sofa and chair for my living room. YIPPEE!! The last one though it wasn't that old was getting there fast. Between kids and pets,poor thing. It really took a beating. So this is my new sofa and I have it below my front bay window. You can see some of my halloween decorating and my granddaughters juice cup on the floor. LOL The next is the pic of my new chair and 1/2 that I have deemed MY CHAIR already. I love it, its so comfortable.
Now I must tell you those cobwebs are not a display of lousy housekeeping but part of my Halloween decorating. LOL


Ahhh my fountain in my garden has started to run red. OOOHHHH CREEPY. (with a little help from food coloring)

On my road

today were these lovely deer. They were closer but ran into the field when they saw my camera come out. Poor things. I think they are so beautiful and I always look forward to seeing them but most of my neighbors see them and think "LUNCH". Not me!
