Well, this past weekend has just been incredible. On Saturday morning I drove 2 hours to Massachusetts to meet some friends. We went to the Yankee Candle Factory in Deerfield. My friend Linda lives nearby, and Janice, Ruth and Norma and Sue, live in the Rochester area. They drove 6 hours to meet us. What a great time was had by all. We went to the factory and did loads of shopping. Then off to a local country store and candy store. What fun. Then back to the hotel to stitch the day away. Then out to dinner at a nice restaurant, and after that, back to the hotel for more stitching. The next morning we went to this great Maple Sugar house restaurant for breakfast and we said our goodbyes to Janice, Ruth, Norma and Sue. Miss them already. Linda and I had a nice Sunday, we went on a long walk through her town, which is just the nicest quaint little New England town. Great little shops that were closed but still a joy to view. There was even a pharmacy with a soda fountain. After that we went back to her home to get some more stitching done. It was great. I was so sorry to see it all end. Wish I could have more weekends like that with friends.

Here is what I was working on all weekend, my CHS Quaker Christmas tree. Its almost done and has become a favorite of mine.
