I don't know where the time goes it just flies by around here.
Things have been a bit hectic and crazy. My husband was hospitalized with some heart problems. An old problem acting up again. He is on the mend and is home now thank God.
My 2 grandchildren have been sick too, the granddaughter with a sinus infection and my grandson with an ear infection, he has been home from school for winter recess. We have had loads of snow and I wish he could have been able to go and play in it but being sick he had to stay in. Well, maybe over the weekend. I would love to take them to the park sledding. We have a great park a couple miles away that has wonderful hills. I wouldn't mind going down one of them myself.
I am so excited. I ordered 2 of the new Carriage House Sampling girls, Elizabeth and Mary Margaret, also La D da's new Mockingbird. I also ordered the silk threads for Mockingbird from Vikki Clayton's, which I know I said it before but I just love those silks. I also ordered some NPI's for my Village piece from CHS. So I am going to be just sitting by the mailbox greedily rubbing my hands together waiting for my stash. WHOOHOOO
I really love all the stories/nursery rhyme type pieces by La D Da. Miss Mary Mack is coming out so nice and I am anxious to stitch some more of their designs. Bushel and a Peck, Merry Sunshine, and Polly Wolly Doodle. Would love to decorate a wall with them.
Here is Miss Mary:

I think she is very fetching. Don'tcha think?

Today I will be receiving my new page of the Mystery Sampler, page 13. I am all done with 1- 12 and I am so glad that I am right on time with this piece. Can't wait to get started on 13.
Here is my mystery sampler update:

In addition to all my plans I am in 2 spring swaps, from 2 separate email groups and I would love to show everyone what I am stitching but I know one of my partners takes a look at my blog now and then, and I want her to be surprised. So I have quite a lot of spring stitching in my future.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my posts and pictures. I love hearing from all of you and reading everyone elses blogs. So many very talented creative friendly people.

Funny, funny!! You've done the left part of Miss Mary Mack and I've done the right, then got stuck with a skein missing. I should pick it up again but I have other more urgent projects to do :) I also didn't resist the new CHS but I took Elizabeth and Molly. And Sarah Spurr - the new CHS sampler. And La-D-Da's Mocking Bird as well!!!! I fell in love with that one. Shows how much our tastes are alike, doesn't it? :)
Glad to hear DH is back home... my partner had a heart op' 2 years ago and whenever I hear heart problems, I get anxious... ;-)
hugs, anna

Wow Sharon, I can't believe how much stitching you have done on both pieces! They're wonderful! YGG!! Ray is in my prayers for a speedy recovery, as you always are.

The sampler is really coming along nicely. I can't wait until you stitch up the most recent addition.

I just bought Polly Wolly Doodle and Merry Sunshine last month and Mary Margaret and Elizabeth only yesterday! It was so funny to read these mentioned in your blog. I love Miss Mary Mack, don't have that one yet ;0)

Sorry to hear about your hubby. I's sure now that he's home, things are much better in the house.
