A little update on my Pennslyvania Sampler House. I am loving this design.
I am stitching it on 32 ct. Vintage Country Mocha. Last year I bought a yard of this and it was the best investment I ever made. It got me through quite a lot of projects and the mottling on it was just fabulous.
Thank you all for your sweet comments.

Hope to work on it some more this evening. I was digging through some stash this morning, oy why did I ever do that. My goal was to weed things out that I would never stitch and all I did was find so many things that I just have to stitch right now immediately. LOL Funny how you buy new things and you sort of push the older things out of your mind to do the new things until more new things come out. Its just MADNESS!! Have a great day!!

Oh, I so feel your pain! I've had the exact same feeling since I started destashing. I got rid of a lot of stuff, but I sure wanna stitch every single thing that's left ... today!

Ah, but isn't it a wonderful kind of madness?! ;) I feel like I'm recovering from amnesia, remembering all these projects I wanted to stitch that I'd forgotten about when I was in the US. I am afraid to go stash diving!

Your CHS progress is incredible, YGG! You'll have it finished in no time,

Sharon your PA house is just wonderful - I love the earthy primitive colors. Wow - I think all of us serious stitchers are in the same boat with wanting to stitch faster, longer and with 10 hands at once LOL . I have 20 + years of stash and most of it is still at my old house - esp the older stuff - I simply must make time to go get it and have a destashing party of my own. Enjoy! Melody

Oh what beautiful madness it is too! I do the same thing about once a month. It's a wonder I get anything stitched. LOL

Love your progress and that fabric is fabulous. Absolutely love it.

I think that happens to all of us!! Always finding things we forgot about and thinking, gee I need to stitch that NOW! But it is fun, right?

Anyway, I love your progress and that Country Mocha is a really nice linen to have on hand. Another great one is Vintage Autumn Fields, that is one of my all time favorite fabbies to have around!

I totally feel your pain with the stash stuff. I'm there right now. It's a madness - you go digging and find more and more. I'm trying to do a rotation and I hope that it helps - but I'm sure that something is going to call to me and this whole things will be tossed in the toilet.

Love your PA sampler btw. And I agree with you on the Country Mocha fabric. I bought a bunch of it a while back, and it too is one of the best investments I've made.

Looking good! As for the stash looking -- yes, it's always a problem, isn't it? lol! But at least you have fun looking, right?

Oh yes! I think all of us can relate to the feeling. There's just so much to do and so little time. I still have things from the last major market release I just had to have but have I stitched them.... no! Now I'm anxiously waiting the next big release for something that will really grab me. It's a viscous circle! But, boy, is it FUN! Love your progress on the PA Sampler House. The fabric is beautifuL!
