I should be sleeping

but I can't. The wind is howling outside and the snow is coming down hard. I will be so happy when this winter is behind us. I don't mind it so much if the sun is shining. But lately it has just been so gloomy.
I feel like one of the brides in seven brides for seven brothers, when they were snowed in till Spring thaw. If my husband starts to sing, dance and swing me around I will know we definitely have cabin fever.

I found this cute background with the little pears and had to use it. I have a thing for pears. Pears and Crows. I am not exactly sure why it started but I started collecting pear and crow items. When I find a design with either on it I just have to get it. I started this one last week, yep another new start. It's a cutie. I bought this a couple years ago at Strawberry Sampler. I came across it the other day while oohing and ahhing my stash and just had to start it. The basket is taking the longest. All the threads are overdyed but the basket thread is dmc 869 and it just seems to be taking forever. I do love it though. I guess I should have did it on a smaller count. I used a 32 count fabric and its still bigger then I thought it would be.

I put down my crochet hook for awhile until earlier tonight when I was playing around with some cotton thread and made this washcloth in a short time. I still like my original washcloth pattern better but thought I would try and change and see how it would come out. I have some orders from friends for more so I better get my crochet hook in gear again. They are so much fun and easy to make.

Have you feasted your eyes yet on the Autumn of Hawk Run Hollow, BESTILL MY HEART!! I love it, its soooo gorgeous. I have only seen a few blocks but so far its a definite must stitch but I also bought the Christmas one and have not even finished the others. LOL Finished, I barely started... OY!! Kathy Barrick I wish I could stitch as fast as you can design these gorgeous pieces of yours.
Here is all I have done so far of my little village. I do love the colors ...

It is my favorite but I have a feeling after Market I am going to have some more favorites. Its a sickness I tell you. :)

I've decided that it's not just stitching we're all into ... it's collecting stash! My sister and I go shopping in our stash sometimes, just to be surprised again at all we have.

Your Village is looking fabulous.

I am, also, in love with "Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow" and I've only just begun "Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow". We'll need a SAL for the autumn piece?

Loved your update and am looking forward to new Nashville stash-want just about EVERYTHING from The primitive Needle.

Stay snug over there and please keep the snow on your side of the state!

Great progress on you LbL piece, Sharon! It is so perfect for you. :) You'll need another crow redware piece to go with it when you're done, right? You know, to celebrate. ;) Great progress on VoHRH, and love the crochet!

It's the winter blues - tired of it and ready for spring! Your crocheting and stitching look great. Can't wait to see the goodies at market, too. :)

Village looks great and yes, I'm also a fan of Hawk Run Hollow and can't wait to see the next adventure appear.
I also love Little By Little, your new start is just gorgeous.

Isn't it funny that several of us are doing Little by Littles? I've always liked them, but I've fallen in love again. Yeesh on the huge basket--and all the snow. Stay warm (chuckling at the idea of your husband singing, dancing and swinging you around!)

Love your new start Sharon! It's perfect for you and your collections.

I am also in love with Autumn in the Hollow. Seeing your Village, I need to pull mine out but stitching on it has been stalled as I think I started it too soon after finishing HoHRH, it was just too much too soon. LOL....I probably should just leave it until after Autumn is finished....

Sharon, the Little by Little pear basket is so cute! I've always liked that design and thought I should add it to my patriotic collection.

You're moving along on your VoHRH. I'm still on square one. You're right, market releases might be distracting.
